Oh dear .. you've caught me with the sugar scoop extension in place, this is a cunning device to minimise berthing fees .. berth up remove stern, doubles as cartop storage box and garden pond when home, only hassle is catching the koi to take 'em to the local fishmonger for storage until we get back.

You've been to Tarbert!!!

I've always wanted to post a picture of that boat.

I understand that coils are used as a form of pregnancy preventative - can anyone explain what you do with them?

That was in Tobermory and the brave wee buggers were off to Coll in it - I saw them out by Calgary Bay rolling nicely

Just got a new deck put on in the spring, amongst other bits and bobs - though they looked as happy as sandboys doing it!

So maybe your wig(s) fell off whilst taking the shot then. Two colours seems a little outre I'd have thought though

Oh they were indeed happy - fell oot o the Mishinish very late then got an early breakfast going whilst the other knocked the seven shades out of a bit of japanese ply - think he's a Leonard Cohen fan

Leonard Cohen

And whats wrong with the great gavel voice??
Some of my happiest sailing memories are falling into a coma tucked up in the quaterberth listening to 'First we take Manhatten' Mind you the half pint of glen-something probably helped.

Re: Leonard Cohen

Well - there's nothing wrong with Leonard Cohen - per se - its just that I'd had an evening with Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham who'd peddled out 3 hours of musical perfection so you'll understand if the Takamine bashing to the aroma of burnt toast emanating from next door did little for my equilibrium.

Re: At least

Hmm - thought that might get a bit lost in the translation - Thank you Donald for restoring my belief that culture does exist here - a bit like live yoghourt really

Re: Leonard Cohen

Name the song

And Jesus was a sailor
When he walked upon the water
And he spent a long time watching
From his lonely wooden tower
And when he knew for certain
Only drowning men could see him
He said "All men will be sailors then

Suzanne

In Leonard Cohen terms, it positively rips along. My candidate for his slowest song would be "Bird on the Wire". Unless you know differently, boys and girls?
