After several bad experiences with (Plastimo) flexible tanks (like finding a full tank of water in the cabin on our first ever cross channel crossing, many years ago) I made what was probably one of my best yachting purchases.........had 2 very awkward sized tanks made up in stainless by a company in Warsash. (Sadler 29, under the left and right rear bits under the front bunks). Absolutely no problems since then, and the water capacity is great.....I would guess at around 60-80 gallons, though have never got around to measuring it. I clean the whole lot out every few years with CHEMPRO (mainly sold as a winemaking sterilser) and have never had any sort of tainting to the water.
