Glass Fuse Boxes.

I want to replace a 30 year old Panel which has 6 Switches (some broken) the panel also houses fuses.
I would like to buy some "Pull Up" Switches and Glass Fuse Holders.
Unfortunately "Lucas" closed down. The pull up switches which are on offer at car accessory shops are not very good compared to a Lucas original.
And I am unable to buy Glass Fuse holders. (Glass fuses are peanuts and waterproof)
So I can either try and source some "old stock" or leap forward to 2014 and use what they use today.
BUT I am very familiar with wiring the old type of Lucas stuff as I did many wiring repairs to cars getting them ready for MOT's in the early 1980's and would find it much easier to re-wire my boat if I could find the stuff I am familiar with.
So what would you do, try and find original type equipment or go for new stuff ?.

Why the desire for pull-out switches? Our boat came with a handful of them where new equipment had been added; always seemed counter-intuitive to me. Nevertheless, if it's what you're used to then I'm sure you can still buy them. A huge range of fuse holders most of which seem to hold the standard 3AG size which I think is what you refer to as glass fuses. Note not always glass but same size.
I would expect you would want to fit the "chasis mount' type although in line might suit you. Note however that the cheap in line type with end spring pressure on the fuse are not as releiable as the clamp around the outside type.

These would be especially good for low current circuits like LED lights. Full protection but auto reset hard wired in so should be reliable.
I am sure these are availbale closer to your home like RS or Maplins
