Glad to be inside ...

It's been a little blustery, but settled down now. Had a brief wander down to seafront at Torquay earlier, but was nothing like as bad as I've seen before - wind at it's peek was from the South, so Torbay escaped the worst. That said, looked quite lively and not really ideal for a 15' open boat, so glad mine was at home! I'll see if I can upload a couple of pics from earlier...

Froward Point a little earlier from NCI webcam! (You probably need to look at on a calm day with a boat for perspective, but those white horses are quite a bit bigger than they look!

Its been wild, my boat is in the marina at torquay, I am near budleigh salterton and the waves were coming right up to the sandstone cliffs on Tuesday, looking good now though, hopefully getting out for a couple of hours tomorrow

Hi Andrew, I can well imagine as Berry Head was similar. It's common on the other coast, but this side of Devon is usually pretty sheltered from the worst storms.

I won't share the picture below directly on here as it's copyright, but is publicly viewable on Chris' Facebook page via the link below without having to log in:

It shows seawater spray topping Berry Head and anyone who has been past on the water will have an idea what that takes! :D

Heavy showers again at the moment - hopefully better tomorrow...
