Long ago, in the mists of time there were sailors who frequented this forum, MoodyNick, Jimi, Lakesailor, Tome, Talbot and others, all famous in their time. Now occasional visits from some, lighten our hearts, nay, give hope that, we don’t / won’t, take ourselves too seriously. Yes, some have gone, but let others take their place.

Where has the humour gone? Did it leave when the Liberals gave in to power, did it hide when summer disappeared never to return in 2010.

Give me hope, someone, that this forum does indeed remember Franky Howard on his way (shows my age), and lets lighten up.

Totally agree,
Far toooooooooooo many people on here want to talk about boats and sailing.
You would thinks there is nothing else in the world to talk about.
So where have they all gone?
Rumour has it that they are all writing books from information gleaned off the forum but I didn't tell you that.
