Gibbs Winches

The barrel of one of my sheet winches - Gibb bottom action (permanently attached ratchet handle with round plastic knob on the end) winch jumped overboard the other day - it has a 4" top circumference - and, of course, no longer made - does anyone know of another barrel that can be substituted or indeed know of an old one lying around?

further to my earlier Gibb bottom action winch plea - of course it should be 4" top DIAMETER not circumference

Try, south coast marine, there is a guy there that used to work for westerly, Gibbs were used extensivley on these, if any one knows he will .

Marksturdy, just remembered his name at South Coast marine, it is wilf, he was even able to suggest where to get spare "Pawls" for my 30myear old Gibbs Winches.
