Can you tell me how to get my post fowarded to me when we're away in France. All the detail you can give me please - I have no idea!

You can have it 'poste restante' - which means staying at the post office, presuming you know which post office you'll be near or if you are staying in a marina for any length of time ask people to write to you under your name, then 'Chez' and the marina's address.
