Just skimming through February's PBO, which came today in December. Someone has suggested getting a Zimmer frame to use as a stand for an outboard. What a brilliant idea! The charity shops will all be wondering why there's such a rush on Zimmers. I'm first in the queue.

For the aged and infirm forumites Lidl will have just the thing as a "special" next week

For the outboard see http://forums.iboats.com/non-repair...ing-o-b-motor-stand-instructional-266570.html
A bit OTT for a small o/b but the idea is there.

Also from Lidl next week: bed socks http://www.lidl.co.uk/cps/rde/SID-F...ffers-2491.htm?action=showDetail&id=8862&ar=1

or, from today, thermal socks http://www.lidl.co.uk/cps/rde/SID-3...ffers-2491.htm?action=showDetail&id=8802&ar=1

Easy; just attach a 'skirt' to the Zimmer, fire up the outboard and just HoverZimmer away.

Hmm, you will also need a source of water for cooling. Perhaps one of those rolling ones that caravaners use?

Finally, owners of Honda air cooled 4 stroke outboard motors get to feel smug. No need to lug a water butt around with the Zimmer.
:D
