I've had very good service from them with parts for a Furlex recently but they seem to have dropped of the face of the Earth in the last month or so. No responses to phone calls or emails. Anybody know if anything has happened to them.

These people:- http://www.getrigged.co.uk/

Three years later and they have effectively disappeared again, unfortunately after I ordered a Selden part and paid for it in October. It proved to be out of stock, fair enough, but since then communication has failed and I have just today recovered my outlay from Paypal Resolution centre, who received no explanation from them either.

I'm afraid exactly the same thing hapened to me in August.

I ordered a Seldon part also. They acknowledged the order and took payment from my Credit Card the same Day.

Chased up by phone and e mail on many occasions since but no reply to the phone, answerphone messages nor e mails.

Avoid.

Me too. £72.23 for parts 19th November 2019. Invoice received t email saying out of stock. Unable to contact them since. I've just escalated a claim to PayPal resolution centre.

Looks like this isn't the first time that this has happened with this supplier - 2016 and again now. How can they get PayPal or banks to deal with them?

Same thing, ordered and paid for parts on 26th September - still not arrived and all e-mails ignored. Time to initiate bank chargeback me thinks.

Update: Called my bank in UK and asked for chargeback on my credit card (just after my last post) and it was refunded promptly before Christmas. I know chargeback is not the preferred way to recover your costs, but if the merchant ignores calls and e-mails, what can you do? Needless to say, I will not be dealing with the company again.

Update. received a full rebate from PayPal 3/1/20. Paypal were also unable to contact the supplier

The same thing happened to me, ordered 2nd April, got an automated email and absolute silence.
I've tried calling and get a "Sorry number is not in service!"
Stupidly I paid with a credit card, let's hope I can get my money 186.42£ back.

Credit card is safe, but I suspect you meant debit?

Same thing happened to me, ordered an item, in March 2018 paid for it got a conformation email advising that order was being processed, then absolutely nothing, tried email dozens of times also tried phoning but no answer, in the end just gave up and wrote the whole thing off.
Would still rather like to get the part but not desperate.

Assuming you mean you paid with a Debit card there's still a chargeback possibility:

Visa, Mastercard & Amex Chargeback
Unfortunately I live in Portugal, so not sure I'm protected by the chargeback or section 75. The amount involved is not exactly peanuts, so I'm pretty upset about this. I've posted this on www.scamadviser.com, and suggest everyone that has been affected to the same, at least try to save others from this disgraceful behaviour of these guys.

Well, that certainly looks like a site to rely on:

I am in Malaysia and used Section 75 to recover costs of over £1000 from a UK sailmaker. I also used the chargeback method with my debit card for this company.
