Genoa UV strip recommendations

Remove the old UV strip yourself - apparently that is a lot of the cost (assuming it is done!) - just make sure the new strip is put on the correct side - how do I know... Many years ago I renewed the UV strip on my then J27 - there was 3 layers one on top of the other!!! It set much better with only one layer.

Having got through 3 sacrificial strips, im surprised the sail was still worth applying a 4th one.Who made the original sail
 
I find the price for this sort of job tends to vary considerably from any one sailmaker, depending on how well booked his loft is for the coming weeks. Not unlike Easyjet pricing really. Hence some report good prices and others "South Coast prices" from the same supplier. I have always found Wilkinson very reasonable to deal with and now that Mick doesn't have a loft in Burnham (just a garage) I suspect he would be happy to serve as delivery and collection point to get your sail to their Kent loft, where the lady who posted #17 would do you a good job, although she was too modest to advertise her services on here.
