Has anyone done the trip down the west coast of Italy to malta? I've worked out from Genoa to malta its approx 700 nm, where are the best/ cheapest, if there is such a thing to pull in to? Any feedback will be appreciated

Sojourn, you're obviously free to start another thread on the very same subject and ignore the only answer you got on the previous one, but if you wanted to bump your question, it makes more sense to just make another post in the first thread.
Anyway, re. possible port of calls along that route, there are so many that I would rather make my choice based on what kind of regional Italian cuisine you'd like to try...

I suspect this is a product of the first/second post moderation. I wonder if this post was posted when the first post didn't appear for a day. Then this post gets moderated and appears as well.
