Thanks NickH, much appreciated. Actually we plan to arrive in marina on Sun 4 Sept now as we have flight home on Monday

We'll almost certainly be in port the Sunday night as well as I have family on board, but even if we're not i'm sure we can hatch a plan to get the fittings to you if needed.

Is there anything you don't have a spare of? :D

PS if you're still local on the weekend, maybe we'll get the chance to catch up. Hoping to head SE maybe Mondayish...

Well of course the best way to ensure something doesn't break is to keep a spare :D

I think we may head along the coast for a few days, but will be around the following weekend.

Shorepower socket is a Marechal DS6 http://marechal.com/en/industrial-plugs-socket-outlets-and-boxes/article/industrial-power-supply . I have one and don't need it again this year (or probably ever as our berth has a different 32A socket) so don't worry if you can't find one as we'll see you when you arrive on the 5th anyway.

Water is a Codital express fitting http://www.codital.com/fitting/coupling-for-compressed-air/express-fitting. It seems they're designed for compressed air, but they're widely used around here for water. I have a spare of these as well if you need one when you arrive.

Mike, the power plug is a bit confusing. It's a 5 pin plug, but with only 3 pins present, earth, neutral and L1. The plug I have is marked as a DS6 90A, but is all plastic, whereas the Marechal website suggests the DS6 90A plug is a combined GRP/metal casing?? There is an all plastic DSN6 plug, rated 63A which is a more usual capacity for shore power supplies. My guess is the DSN6 is the right plug, but it's OK to use a DS6 as it has a higher rating, but i'm not sure about that.

Hopefully jfm will pick up on this thread to confirm, or contact you direct, as he will be using the same connections on his 23m berth

Whatever, i'm sure the spare plug I have will work, so you wont be stuck without shore power.

Much appreciated again, Nick. Last night I took the trouble to properly read the official guide booklet that the capitannerie gave me when I signed the berth documents (doh!) and it confirms that the 23m berths have 63A single phase DS6 sockets so I guess that means the DSN6 is OK. As it happens I think I may have a DSN6 somewhere in my spare parts hoard and if not I will try to pick one up en route but if that doesn't work out I will knock on your door!

Not power related, but as you come along from coast from about San Remo you should be able to pick up Riviera Radio on 106.7 or 106.5FM. English radio station from Monaco. Some like it, some don't. BBC news on the hour, local on the 1/2 and all sorts of music. Also do a marine weather forecast.
