I noticed today my block has seized on the genoa track on one side, the track and block was made by a company called main marine.
Would a Barton 32mm block fit this track as hopefully i don't want to have to buy a new track as well.

I think you will need to measure the thickness of the top of the Genoa track. 32mm comes in (at least) 2 thicknesses. I think most common is 5mm but some (including mine) are thicker (probably 1/4 or 5/16 inch). If yours is not the common size it may still be possible to get a replacement car to fit - maybe from US where they still use some imperial dimensions.

Rutgerson or Pfeiffer cars will, unlike Barton, fit the thicker 32mm track, in my experience.
