I called into a hostelry last week and who should be adorning a corner of the bar - the same corner we left him in on the Chentlemans cruise but Webcraft. Mr and Mrs LongjohnSadler, DearHeart, Good Self and all Rabbits Friends and Relations - two families of the Cheshire HoiPoloi at least - ordered a round of drinks from the childrens room to which we had been directed. The rather pleasant and attractive young thing behind the bar said "Are you a Mr Claymore or a Mr LongJohnSadler? Yes we replied - thats ok she said these are on Webcraft.
How generous and what a lovely meal we had - puddings too!

are youse sure he's no still in shock an' nivver moved efter seeing the can-can danced on the table ...

Tigh na Truish generosity

I take it that Madame Claymore remains blissfully unaware of the House of the Trousers incident. Hasn't she seen the photographs?

Re: Tigh na Truish generosity

Err No - although LongJohn did take a sharp rap to the shins under the table when I thought he was getting a little free with the information

Well, we won't mention it again. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Presume that a good time was had by all and that the weather was "mixed" - not too bad, but a bit on the cool side.

Varnished on Sunday and Monday - Fine sailing on Tuesday against the backdrop of "Rain Later" from the Coastie.
It rained on Wednesday and stopped on Saturday
Had a fine meal in The Anchorage in Tobers one evening, didn't dine of fresh claymorecaught fish at any time as Mrs Longjohnsadler didnae manage to repeat last years performance.
Called in on Captain Cumbernauld on the Friday evening and he generously served up the gin
