Hi folks,
I inherited a 2nd hand Zeise Benjamin Multipower 3kva generator a year ago, and it needs a service.
The chap I bought it from had just rebuilt the engine, and suggested the tappets would need adjusting at the first service - the problem is that I have no manual and I can't get hold of the guy I got it from.. so, any idea of clearances, and engine hot or cold?
It is a Faryman single cylinder diesel, about 10 years old, but I don't have the engine designator...
Also, will my usual engine oil be suitable for this engine? (Volvo VDS 3)
