At my last boaty bootfair.Most stalls seemed to flog a 600w chinese genny for about 70-80 quid.Were giving demo as to able to run a decent sized drill.

Drill maybe, dependant on size, but they wont run SWMBO's vacuum cleaner. I am running a 750w yanmar generator, and it does at least turn this 900w sucker, but I guess it will shorten the life of the beast significantly.
