Does anyone know any one good at doing small gelcoat repairs. Just a tidy up and spider cracks, in the Hythe/Southampton area. The main skill will be matching the colour on my boat being a 35 year old white.

Your boat is 35 years old, so maybe it has a few stress cracks. Few 35 year old boats wouldn't.
I have found that if you polish hard (the spidery cracks only) they will all but disappear. It is the dirt in the cracks that notice most.
Stand back and do the 30 ft test. I bet you hardly see them.

I used someone in Southampton. I could dig out the name, but whilst the repair was good, the price was crazy, so I wouldn't particularly reccommend them just on that basis.

If you want the name though, let me know

If you must do them what's wrong with diy, not a difficult job. Hardest part as you've already said is colour matching with no guarantee that a professional will get it right.
