Hi
Does anyone know how to recreate the raised non slip profile on some gel coats? I have some crazing in the non slip..a sort of pyramid raised pattern 1-2 mm high. Or a specialist in the South West?
Thanks all

Find a bit that is good, and give it a good cleaning. Place some plasticene over the pattern . Put some gelcoat on to the damaged area and use the indented plasticene as a mould.
Leave to cure. Do only a small area ata a time .

Ive heard of the gelcoat pattern being replicated with a small cube of plasticine once the damage has been tidied up and gelcoat applied ...

same question i put a few weeks ago same thing suggested ie plastacine also advised to spray it with hair spray to stop it sticking Not tried it yet waitin for better weather. If it works ok will you let us know on here ta

If it's the regular crosshatch 'lines of pyramids' pattern stuff fill the hole/crack, then when 'green' - ie half cured carefully slice along the grooves both ways with a very sharp blade (eg Stanley blade - not in a handle, just the blade) and lift out the waste. You MUST get it before it goes really hard. Can work really well.

Random/wrinkle effect much more difficult....
