Hi Chaps:

I am looking for the recommendation of a Glass fibre and particularly gel coat repair person in the Ipswich or Suffolk area.
Any thoughts please.

I have used Fox's for gel coat repairs and found them to be excellent with a superb colour match achieved.Probably not the cheapest though!!!
 
Thanks for the link, however I had already contacted the Glass chap "Andy" and he is booked out for most of the summer on a large job in Norfolk.
Any other thought would be welcome.

Yep, Foxes & Suffolk Yacht harbour fully booked up for the foreseeable time. Which is what I suppose one should expect in May.
However Foxes in particular are almost impossible to get a reply from.

You could try The Marina Workshop at Shotley, 01473 788 982, Guy or Martin. Have seen some of their glass and wood work, and at least visually it looks very good. They do Osmosis strip & repair so finish standard likely to be what you want. Have only used them for various mechanical work and always been happy with the job and price, especially as they are tardy in sending bills.

Absolutley brilliant job. Know its not suffolk but its not far away.
 
Smooth Finish. I have seen this bloke working and he appears to do a very good job. He was recommended to me by my boatyard but I did the job myself.
