Gel coat, Dart catamaran - what colour?

Anyone know what shade of white gel-coat is used on a Dart catamaran. I would guess they probably used the same colour of white throughout all boats but what exact white is it?

I have got an old Dart 12 which I would like to clean-up before selling her, after many years of use she has acquired a few dings in the gel-coat. Not that I know anything about how to do gel-coat but guess I will soon learn, any tips for a gel-coat novice?

I also wonder whether to remove the stripes and polish the rest of the hulls as well but not sure how easy it is to get new stripes put back on level?

A good GRP man will match the colour, as it will have UV faded over time, so the original colour is fairly irrelevant.

That's awkward. I was going to use the same gel-coat to do the skegs, hulls and the rubber blades. Of course the rudder blades have spent most of their life in bags so probably won't have faded by any significant amount.

Try the Dart Association, they should know. I think many were Dawn Grey.

have a look on line as to what a dinged one goes for
And what a tidy old one goes for
Might not be worth the hassle of matching it, just filling the holes is likely to get you a sale, good time of the season for it
My old darts had quite a few chips filled, no prob selling any of them ....
