Gator Rope cutter

I have just contacted CJR, who supplied me with a three bladed Flex-o-Fold propeller two years ago. I wanted to know if they recommended a rope cutter to go with the prop as I picked up a bunch of crud last year and have to have a new cutlass bearing as a result.

Has anyone any experience of the Gator range which CJR supply, does it affect performance very much and does it last well.

I have also noted the 'Quickutter' and wonder if anyone has experience of that.

If you can afford a bit extra go for the Stripper (you can explain it to SWMBO). I think the consensus is that it's pretty much the best of the bunch.

I saw the quickutter demonstrated (at Beaulieu) it looked great, much simpler and more streamlined.
Had no problems chomping through lots of rope!
Quite a few people watching who had strippers or spurs seemed convinced it was better.
