Absolutely. A gas alarm is next to essential.A CO detector is a great idea to make sure you don't poison yourself when burning gas, but only a gas detector will alert you to a gas leak long before it reaches an explosive level
A CO alarm important if you are heating the cabin, esp overnight, with any carbon based fuel.
A gas alarm can be linked to an emergency shut off valve if desired.
A bubble type leak detector in the installation is well worth fitting as it enables you to check the system integrity every time the gas bottle is turned on.
