Gas Fitter

A friend with a Dawncraft has his BSS inspection due in a couple of months but has a problem with one of the knobs on his calor gas cooker which needs sorting beforehand.

Anyone know a reliable gas fitter in the Chertsey/Weybridge area?

you should be able to find a Gas Safe registered fitter via the Gas Safe website. http://www.gassaferegister.co.uk/ All Gas Safe registered fitters are reliable.


But do you really need a gas fitter. Can't you just pull the knob off and fit a new one ?

Search as instructed but you need a fitter with LPG and boats on his certificate. I have it but few bother as boats are a category on their own.

whip the cooker out, blank/cap it off .
refit when the bss has been issued
