Thanks for your input Minchsailor. I actually sell and install Gas detection systems to industry but I stay away from selling to the marine industry I couldn't stand over the installations 100% for the reasons you list above. I have a CO detector and am careful with the Gas Shut off valve. I use the portable at times to check my gas lines and exhaust system.
