Swapped my clunker of a laptop for a new all-singing, all-dancing model on 24 December and the techies at work loaded me up with all sorts of goodies - best being a second battery which gives me mebbe 7-8 hours use between charges - but they didn't put HomePort back on for me.

Now I thought there must be an installation disk but I can't find one, so does anyone know if it's just a download from Garmin? If so I will go and look for the 23 digit code, the 13 digit code and the separate seven digit code which I'm sure I've got somewhere.

Cheers fellas. I have a bit of blind spot about the Garmin online help which generally leaves me more confused than when I started. Will have a go at downloading it and see how long my good humour lasts. :)

You need to purchase it. The cost is about $30. I got mine on an SD card that I also use to transfer the bluecharts from my chartplotter to my PC. But I'm almost sure you can also get it on a CD.
