Garmin GPSMap 292

I've had this chartplotter for nearly 10 years and it has worked perfectly until today when it wouldn't acquire any satellites. Has anyone else had this problem with this particular model and is there a fix? I did see somewhere that a master reset might sort it but I don't have a clue how to do this. Any help would be appreciated. Steve

If yours has the external GPS receiver you might want to check that first.

I think the external antenna is passive; the receiver is in the plotter.

Possibly, but whichever it is if it's not picking any satellites up i'd want to be checking the connections to it.

Its self contained with an internal antenna - I hope to get to the boat today to try this reset.

The master reset did get this chartplotter working again - I also found a test mode page by holding the 'enter' button down while powering up
