Garmin GPS map 820. How display SOG

I have a Garmin marine gps820 chart plotter but despite having fiddled with all the buttons, settings and in desperation, even referred to the manual, I just can't work out how to display gps, speed over ground (SOG). I'm sure I'm being a numpty. Please can someone help?

Isn't it in the Overlay Numbers Settings menu?

Agree it's probably in overlays.
Does it display any sort of speed? If it does, it's almost certainly SOG.

No, you can select from a huge range of data to display in whatever data fields you choose to add to the display. I've set mine to show a data box in each of the 4 corners of the screen, and I display water speed, depth, apparent wind speed, apparent wind direction.
