I tried searching for a fairly recent thread about the GPS 18x USB not working on Windoze 10. Alas, all I got was that annoying oops error.

Anyway, somewhere on the Garmin site is a download called USBDrivers_2313.

Garmin: USB Drivers Updates & Downloads (the 8 on the end of the www is correct)

Hope this helps.

11 minutes of editing to finally get the link to work. Grrrrrrrrr. Get your act together, ybf**kingw.

Damn, I might have spoken too soon. It's stopped working.

I closed OpenCPN and tried the gps on SASPlanet and it works just fine. Well , it worked just fine once I'd moved the puc so that it had a better view of the sky, which didn't help with OpenCPN for some reason. In fact, OpenCPN crashed my laptop.... reboot, please wait, was needed.
Can anyone else with Win 10 and a Garmin 18x USB see if they too have issues with OpenCPN, please, once you've installed the linked USB driver?
TIA
