I have a Garmin GMI10 display on my NMEA2000 network fitted to my yacht, which to date I have used to display depth and speed. I have just fitted a set of masthead instruments and will want to display the data from those. A GMI10 can now be had for less than £300, with a GMI20 being somewhat more. Given that I don't need anything more than basic wind/speed/depth information (no NMEA engine instruments or anything fancy like like), is there any benefit in fitting a GMI20, or should I save the money and just get a GMI10?
