Garmin BlueChart g2 - advice

One for Garmin users please.... I've just invested in my first bit of Garmin kit and I need chart coverage of the whole Med, from what I can find on the web the BlueChart g2 EU802X seems to be the chart to download or is there something else anyone would recommend?

Blimey is it kosher at 60 quid? Garmin site it's £299.

I would suggest you buy it off Garmin so you can update it when a new version comes out at a discounted price.
