I am considering buying a Garmin 2010. I know the denizens of this forum are generous kind hearted folks so anyone who wishes to donate funds toward the purchase are invited to do so. For every £100 received I shall give the donor a signed photo of it when installed. Donors giving less tha £100 will only get a Personal Message saying "Tight Git but thanks anyway"

Tottenham court road the place to part with dosh for this. I was working up there last week noticed a few of the leccy retail shops had quiet a bit of garmin and magellan stuff in them. Spent half an hour up and down bartering with a couple of them. Got £55 knocked of the price of a Garmin 128. Total price with the VAT was £148. Give it a go wot you gotta loose

Re: In that case ...

Far too much curry powder in Maserati and you have to be careful it isn't being used to disguise bad meat.

A plea:

Whilst it is still virgin and unmolested in it's box, give it to John to fit. Don't "have a go". It'll never work again!!

O Ye of little faith. It only needs 4 nails to fix it and some old cooker cable to wrap around the battery terminals then attach to the terminals of the Garmin. Us Greeks know how to do things. Anyway... still waiting for Blakey to turn up from two weeks ago to do my alignment which is why I have to get someone else.

find cheapest internet price (including dollars) and print - then offer a reasonable price eg. plus a tenner that you would have to pay for postage.........

worked for a 64 mb MMC card for the LCX Lowrance unit - a fair deal at £49

they also like cash - but I don't understand why?
