Garmin 128 GPS not working

It was working last year and has been in the house since the boat came out of the water. I connected it today and it didnt work at all. No sign of life. Power supply seems OK ditto fuse. Any thing I should try.

Might be worth plugging into another aerial if you have a mate with similar type.

Garmin UK are very helpful, and will probably replace it free if any problem.

You say that the power supply 'seems OK', have you actually checked it with a meter?

Ensure that you have both a positive and negative at the plug.

I had a faulty Garmin 128 and returned it to them for a service their price is a fixed fee, Mine wasnt picking up the sats, they upgraded the software and gave me a new airiel returned it within a week and sent my cheque back no charge excellent service.
