Monopoly Deal, mentioned earlier, was recently introduced to me by my daughter. It’s brilliant. While true to form for monopoly, it is a well thought out entirely new take in the game. Highly recommended.
To answer seriously (is that possible) a game we have enjoyed is an electronic trivia game called Simon. It's a Frisbee shaped gadget with four buttons. One person holds the gadget, presses the button and something pops up on the screen. He/she then gives a partner clues until the partner guesses the answer on the screen. The holder pushes a button to show the answer was guessed correctly and a new word pops up on the screen. Then the gadget is passed to the next person and the process repeats. Tn part, the gadget is constantly beeping, faster and faster until a timer runs out and it makes the final buzz. The team with the gadget when the timer expires loses the round. It can be played in modified form with fewer but works best with four players. Loads of fun.
