Galley drawers

As my galley drawers are covered by the companion way with access under and between the steps, they need to pull out a lot further than otherwise to access the contents.

I considered double extension slides, cheap as chips plated from the likes of B&Q but I fear for their reaction to the elements. Stainless ones are beyond my budget.

Any views?

Not really, sorry - other than to buy good quality non-stainless and keep them well lubricated and hope for the best. How exposed to the elements are they?

Closed they are ok but if the hatch is open and the drawers, they could fill!:nonchalance:

Well if you will rinse the cutlery like that ...

B&Q ones will also be cheap to replace.
They are quite well protected with paint but you could also give them a coating of grease.
