Ellie, or her boat?
Never met Ellie or indeed saw anybody on the boat, or even any lights in the evenings.
Timbers looked to be decaying and it had a general air of abandonment.

A shame, but not surprising. It's hard work to keep an old wooden fishing boat in commission, and very expensive unless you can do the work yourself.Never met Ellie or indeed saw anybody on the boat, or even any lights in the evenings.

Famous last words! She seems to be upright. Floating and alongside.

Looks like she's still alongside the jetty? Anyone know what they plan to do with her?still afloat after the weekend?

Is the Heritage Pontoon still a going concern, after the sad demise of Trinity? If the HM isn't pathogically retarded, isn't corruptable by big business, and wants the best for his harbour, it should be maintained and reserved for the classic wooden gaffers which everyone associates with BM. I would be a regular visitor.Just leave her there as a "tourist attraction " to go with some of the other hulks that are there bringing the harbour down.
Plans are for it to be broken up in place or moved to the D-day slip to be broken up....
How strange - given the effort they took to recover it last time you would have thought they would have made doubly sure it wasn't going to sink again - or got it out of the water
