Furler line via stanchion mounted fairleads ?

I have some of the Schaefer items:

Low friction and big dia, 30 quid each though.

IMHO there lead furling blocks are a waste of money as the angle the furling changes along the deck edge is quite small.

I have 2 normal blocks that can swivel at the bow one aligning the furling line onto the furler drum at the correct angle and a second at deck level to lead the furling line along the deck edge.

At the cockpit i have a block at deck level that directs the furling line from the deck level up to a cleat on the top rail of my pushpit such I can access it from the steering wheel. The line in between pass through round eye bolts attached to the stanchion at deck level.

this is the best pic I have at the mo

The furler drum is on the right and the first lead block is right on the right edge of the picture.
Behind the anchor line drum is a guide/fairlead and on the bottom left is the lead block at deck level. The eye bolts can be seen at the bottom of the stanchion below anchor line drum.
