Funny wind direction - Bramblemet

At 0855bst this morning, Cammet, Chimet and Sotonmet al showed a southerly breeze and yet Bramblemet had a northerly. At first I though it was simply a very light day but the wind speeds were significant, if not strong. Is Hamble at the centre of a tiny weather system?

massive thunderstorm rolled through about that time. Wind was messed up for several hours. Made a right lottery off the last race of the spring series!

We were half way from Yarmouth to Cowes about that time when the rather big thuderstorm rolled through. The wind did some funny things..
