Arrived in St Peter Port Guernsey last night and couldent beleve it. The inner harbour was full and I mean full of french yachts. The outside was nearly full. With a bit of persuasion we were allowed to moor 3 out by the slip and that was that, we were the last mobo in.

I have never seen so many yachts in here, mostly small french sailing. I am now told they have 3 gatherings and a yacht race overnight. I think we are the only red ensign in the marina???

Beware anyone coming over tonight!!! should be gone Saturday am

Hmmm, just looked at waiting pontoon and theres more of them out there, I think its the french take over of the islands perhaps I should phone David C
