Fuel/Water Separators

We have the Nauco gauze type cleanable primary filters/water separators, which have a drain tap at the bottom.

If the drain tap is opened is it a case of only draining water if there is water present, or would you expect to drain fuel?

I think there is also the opportunity to drain any crud out too.

That's what I was thinking too Paul, but I tried a quick drain at the weekend and just got a bit of air out, no fluids at all.

Do you have the same Italian primaries on Rafiki?

Any idea where I can get a replacement housing? There is pitting on the bottom of mine and rather than replace the whole unit with another (and hence have to re-do the fuel lines), i'd prefer to just buy the main body as it would be an easy replacement.
