Fuel tank

Having just removed the tank for a spot of welding, I’m assuming once everything is back in place, the pipes attached and fuel put back, that I just run up the engine until it cuts out and then bleed it through?

Or is that too simple?

I would bleed it first and then start the engine.

why would you want to suck air through the whole system, why not bleed it through first??

Bleed it through to the secondary filter before starting the engine, then you shouldn't need to bleed the injector pump and injectors.....

Suck it through with an oil extractor pump before starting, saves loads of pumping.
