Hi all
I have a 'Vintage' Volvo MD5C
Seem to have air in the fuel system, or a knackered fuel pump. I have removed the water separator and filter and filled them up. When I pump the manual handle on the fuel pump nothing seems to happen. I have tried with the engine/cam in a couple of different positions.
My question is does the manual handle work the same basic mechanism as the engine powered mechanism?
Or is it possible my manual pump is broken, but the main mechanism is OK?

Thanks
