Fuel Prices South of France

There’s loadsa VP guys Pete in the CdA .€70 / hr + TVA is the going rate for an official guy .
I use to use the guys @ Arie d Boom in La Rague .At any one time there yard can have a dozen outdrives and a few IPS in the engine shed in bits + 1/2 dozen VP engines in various stages of strip down .
VP.Fr head office , parts, showroom , and workshop is 3 miles inland from La Napoule .
All the “ white van men “ call in for spares and they do delivery to marinas .
They also have undercover 1/2 dozen of so boats with engines out in various states of repair.

Big outfit , but the same guy Franc always did the service on mine over the years .
And yes they do call outs .
But there’s loadsa VP guys .
 
At Porquerolles diesel is €1.75
And the port is madness! We arrived and told we were 17th in line for a place and to tread water and wait. But remarkably we only waited the five minutes that they said it would take. So I think the capitainerie is doing a good job!
 
We have never been turned away from st Tropez. The team there are amazing and fix mooring issues with ease, a smile and then move on to the next. Watching them is great.

The fuel station at the entrance to Beaulieu has diesel at €1.50/l. The marine fuel station is €1.78/l. The distance between the two is less than 500m in a direct line.
