Does anyone have the web address for the fuel price + Quality web site, I have looked in the fuel forum but cannot see it !!.

We are trying to plan our trip back from Jersey to North Wales at the end of the month, will refuel in Guernsey first then Falmouth and then somewhere up the west coast ( possibly Milford Haven )

Thanks

Andy

You'd be better off coming up to Swansea. Reputedly has the cheapest fuel in the country, and usually beats Milford by around 10p a litre. Nicer stopover as well IMHO. Council run Marina one of the few left.

Get yer fuel off Dom, he will sort out yer Guernsey fuel like he says. Falmouth was a bit dear last time I was there. Depends what there feeling like on the day I think. Better option is Newlin. Fill up with a tanker on the fish quay. 20p last year. Doubt if you will beat that.

Thanks for all the info

I will send you a PM Dom

We are going out to Jersey next week to make the final arrangements and finish preparing the boat.
We have decided to hire a skipper to help bring the boat back as we have not made a channel crossing before.

Thanks again

Andy

Not to difficult if you have nav aids. GPS and plotter. But much better to get used to the boat and nav aids before attempting. Elsle nothing gained. Learn to do it yer self. It's not rocket science. Bit of a pig if some one else is doing it. IMHO.

Radar is extremley useful, not only in fog. You can tell exactly how far away ships and headlands are off. No easy by eye sometimes.
