I have a fuel leak from the base of one of the spare outlets from the tank. When the tank is full this is below the level of the fuel, as is now the case. Is there any glue/mastic etc for fuel that I can put on to stop this leak?

Bavaria are aware of this problem.
We had the same problem on our 2004 Bavaria 36. On investigation we discovered that the holes in the top of the tank were drilled on the 'skew' which means the bungs have only very small contact area (seal) with the edge of the tank. We removed the original 'bungs' and replaced them with a slightly larger diameter, supplied by Bavaria. Since then we've kept the tank less than 100% full and the problem hasn't re-occured - not sure if the replacement 'bungs' have worked or if it's not fully filling the tank.
Any sealant you apply will only work short term. Long term it will be disolved by the diesil and leave a gap.

I had a similar problem with a vetus tank. I replaced the fittings with proper brass tank fittings with, I think, Nitrile rubber washers.

just a thought..... There is a liquid thats used on fuel tanks, an additive put in tank, fill tank to above leak and it slowly seals with time (Short), cannot remember the name but tank seal rings a bell. do a Google and ses what comes up or out, best of luck.
