Do any of you have any idea where I could find figures for, or can you tell me from experience, what the approximate fuel consumption is for a Volvo MD7A at normal cruising speed i.e. about 3/4 throttle opening for around 4 knots on my old (but recently acquired) 30 foot fin keeler. The fuel tank is highly inaccessable and I'd like my guesswork to be a little more educated than it is at present! I'd judge from the engine smoke that consumption isn't quite as good as the factory intended but any idea would be better than none.
