Last season the fridge on my Beneteau Antares 760 would only work on one temperature setting. I assumed the problem was with the thermostat so I fitted a new one over the winter. This year it started to work properly, but has now gone back to only cooling when the dial is set to 6. At other settings the fan is turning but there is no cooling effect. Expert advice needed!

When you say it works, do you mean it delivers loads of cool air or just a cool breeze? If the latter, the system, is loosing gas. Regassing is straight forward but in situ is for a specialist IMHO

Fridges on Antares 760s have come up several times before on this forum, the last time was only about a week ago. Suggest you do a search.

Thanks, but most of the chat was about fitting replacement fridges at £500 a time plus labour. I was hoping for a simple remedy as the unit still functions, but at only one temperature setting.
