Frigoboat Electronic Controller Replacement

[Surprise!]

My fridge system has a Frigoboat E250154 Electronic Controller connected to a Frigomatic compressor (I believe the model type is W12). It started cutting out after 30 seconds and before the compressor kicked in. I managed to fix some dried out solder joints in the controller but the controller is no longer reliable. My boat is 30 years old and I'm having difficulty finding out whether a modern replacement for this controller exists, which will work with the existing compressor (which works brilliantly when the controller lets it). Does anyone know?

I think you'll still be able to buy an equivalent controller, just Google the Frigoboat part number.

Try Penguin Engineering, they supplied spares for my similar age unit. They used to attend the boat shows.
