Fridge coolant pipe question...

I've just installed a Isotherm ge80 into my Moody S31 to convert the coolbox to a fridge. Is it ok to now uncouple the gas coolant pipe connections for short time, in order to make a slight change, or will I lose the gas?

In theory no.

If it's the latest version apparently you can, is there a manual included?

"If you need to reposition the system, connections can be reopened without leakage of refrigerant.". From the manual.

I believe the latest couplings are self sealing vitrifrigo I believe like this

Thanks for all the replies.

I asked the original question as I'd left the manual on the boat and needed to know before I went back down. I got down yesterday and the manual states clearly that the coolant pipes can be separated without loss of gas. Job done. New fridge up and running
