Well, I'll check out how busy it is on discount Saturday (tomorrow) as SWMBO has agreed to revisit the Show... and as it is a 3 hour journey I take that as a good sign /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Q Richard inviting me for a beer!

Nope i only correct people when they need correcting...

Motor boat hall fairly quiet today we were steady all day long but have been busier Sailboat hall fairly busy till bout 5:30 bar busy though!

Met some very interesting chaps today as well as a number of forum members there are also a LOT of overseas visitors this year

We went today too. I can confirm the same observations. That said having spoken to a few of the big boys I did detect green shoots (puke) of optimism. Sessa were very happy having done 7 deals so far. Princess were happy and of couse SS were as busy as usual. Contrary to some of the comments on Fairline on here recently we made a point of visiting the stand. We were made very welcome and enjoyed a beer in the "inner sanctum". We felt that if we were in the market for a new boat Fairline are trying to make their customers feel just that little bit more special. For me that works as a marketing thing but there will be some that it doesnt.
We had a great time and there was some very intersting stuff there including a radical new propulsion system.

This 350hp package weighs about 375KG. Awesome power to weight ratio you will agree. The only disadvantage is you have to have a 45 degree angled transom. Maybe worth the surgery in my opinion and not to bad a modification to make on new builds. The jury will decide.
Did anyone see the beautiful cris crafts? oh wow!
