Hi all,

We seem to have a fresh water leak in a crachi 34 . We have checked all the pipes we can find and unfortunately we do not have a plumbing drawing (I dont suppose anybody has a cranchi plumbing drawing). We empty the bilges and then water is there again quite soon after. Could anybody give us some idea of where to start looking to find a possible solution.

thanks in advance
Rob

Duno. I got a leak, just after I fitted a new carpet. Blamed the SIMBO for squirting water round the shower door. Turned out to be union on tap fittings needed tighening. Eventualy tightened fitting, but carpet now knackered again. Another loose conection knocked out the auto pilot. dripping water from the aft shower. All now resolved with big spanner. Duno, it's just eternally mending things.

I had a hard to find leak on my MF 805 but found it in the end right on top of the fresh water tank by leaving the water tank fill hose on continuously and pressing up the tank with water.

Assuming you use the boat in sea water and the leak is freash water, have you determined if its rain water leaking in (ie only happens when it rains) or a leaking domestic water system?
How much water and at what rate is leaking into the bilge?
Any water collecting elsewhere? - look in inspection hatches etc
